The RELM beta retnlb (Catalog #MBS535727) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RELM beta antibody reacts with Murine RELM beta and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s RELM beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RELM beta retnlb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The RELM beta retnlb product has the following accession number(s) (GI #14211897) (NCBI Accession #NP_115968.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

RELM beta retnlb

Biological Significance: RELM beta (Resistin-like molecule beta/FIZZ2) is an 18 kDa disulfide-linked homodimeric protein expressed in the epithelium of the colon and small bowel. The biological functions of RELM beta, and its molecular targets, are not fully known but, it has been suggested that it plays a regulatory role during inflammation and may also act to establish links among adipose tissue, the intestine and the liver. Immunogen: RELM beta antibody was raised in rabbit using highly pure recombinant murine RELMbeta as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing RELM beta are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as RELM beta may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Atherosclerosis, Carcinoma, Fibrosis, Glucose Intolerance, Hyperglycemia, Inflammation, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Respiratory Hypersensitivity are some of the diseases may be linked to RELM beta antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. RELM beta also interacts with the following gene(s): GREM2, STAT6. Intestine tissues are correlated with this protein.
