|The RFC1 rfc1 (Catalog #MBS647543) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RFC1, NT (RFC1, RFC140, Replication factor C subunit 1, Activator 1 140kD subunit, Activator 1 large subunit, Activator 1 subunit 1, DNA-binding protein PO-GA, Replication factor C 140kD subunit, Replication factor C large subunit) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s RFC1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RFC1 rfc1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The RFC1 rfc1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #325296984) (NCBI Accession #NP_001191676.1) (Uniprot Accession #P35251). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The protein encoded by this gene is the large subunit of replication factor C, which is a five subunit DNA polymerase accessory protein. Replication factor C is a DNA-dependent ATPase that is required for eukaryotic DNA replication and repair. The protein acts as an activator of DNA polymerases, binds to the 3\' end of primers, and promotes coordinated synthesis of both strands. It also may have a role in telomere stability. Immunogen: RFC1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 26-54 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human RFC1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing RFC1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as RFC1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cleft Palate, Death, Heart Diseases, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to RFC1, NT (RFC1, RFC140, Replication factor C subunit 1, Activator 1 140kD subunit, Activator 1 large subunit, Activator 1 subunit 1, DNA-binding protein PO-GA, Replication factor C 140kD subunit, Replication factor C large subunit).
