The RFC5 rfc5 (Catalog #MBS627350) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RFC5, ID (R185) (Replication Factor C Subunit 5, Activator 1 Subunit 5, Replication Factor C 36kD Subunit, RF-C 36kD Subunit, RFC36, Activator 1 36kD Subunit, A1 36kD Subunit, RFC5) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s RFC5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RFC5 rfc5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The RFC5 rfc5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #194306569) (NCBI Accession #NP_001123584.1) (Uniprot Accession #P40937). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The elongation of primed DNA templates by DNA polymerase delta and DNA polymerase epsilon requires the accessory proteins proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and replication factor C (RFC). RFC, also named activator 1, is a protein complex consisting of five distinct subunits of 140, 40, 38, 37, and 36kD. RFC5 is the 36kD subunit. This subunit can interact with the C-terminal region of PCNA. It forms a core complex with the 38 and 40kD subunits. The core complex possesses DNA-dependent ATPase activity, which was found to be stimulated by PCNA in an in vitro system.

RFC5 rfc5

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide selected from the Center region of human RFC5 (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing RFC5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as RFC5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Esophagus, Eye, Heart, Liver, Thymus tissues are correlated with this protein. Carcinoma, Squamous Cell, Drug Toxicity, Head and Neck Neoplasms, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Melanoma, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to RFC5, ID (R185) (Replication Factor C Subunit 5, Activator 1 Subunit 5, Replication Factor C 36kD Subunit, RF-C 36kD Subunit, RFC36, Activator 1 36kD Subunit, A1 36kD Subunit, RFC5).
