The RNF14 rnf14 (Catalog #MBS649422) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RNF14, CT (RNF14, ARA54, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF14, Androgen receptor-associated protein 54, HFB30, RING finger protein 14, Triad2 protein) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s RNF14 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RNF14 rnf14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The RNF14 rnf14 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #48145521) (NCBI Accession #CAG32983.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9UBS8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RNF14, CT (RNF14, ARA54, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF14, Androgen receptor-associated protein 54, HFB30, RING finger protein 14, Triad2 protein) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (RNF14 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in HL-60 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the RNF14 antibody detected the RNF14 protein (arrow).)
The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING zinc finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein interactions. This protein interacts with androgen receptor (AR) and may function as a coactivator that induces AR target gene expression in prostate. A dominant negative mutant of this gene has been demonstrated to inhibit the AR-mediated growth of prostate cancer. This protein also interacts with class III ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes (E2s) and may act as an ubiquitin-ligase (E3) in the ubiquitination of certain nuclear proteins. Five alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms have been reported.
Immunogen: RNF14 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 335-364 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RNF14. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing RNF14 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as RNF14 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
