The RNF2 rnf2 (Catalog #MBS2527614) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RNF2 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s RNF2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), CHIP. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RNF2 rnf2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The RNF2 rnf2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #71059923) (NCBI Accession #CAJ18505.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9CQJ4). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RNF2 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using RNF2 antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human breast cancer using RNF2 antibody at dilution of 1:200 (400x lens).)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence analysis of U20S cell using RNF2 antibody. Blue: DAPI for nuclear staining.)
Polycomb group (PcG) of proteins form the multiprotein complexes that are important for the transcription repression of various genes involved in development and cell proliferation. The protein encoded by this gene is one of the PcG proteins. It has been shown to interact with, and suppress the activity of, transcription factor CP2 (TFCP2/CP2). Studies of the mouse counterpart suggested the involvement of this gene in the specification of anterior-posterior axis, as well as in cell proliferation in early development. This protein was also found to interact with huntingtin interacting protein 2 (HIP2), an ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, and possess ubiquitin ligase activity.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human RNF2
Observed Molecular Weight: 37kDa. Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing RNF2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as RNF2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Fertilized Ovum, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Other, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
