The RSPO4 rspo4 (Catalog #MBS9203044) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RSPO4 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s RSPO4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry Paraffin (IHC-P), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).WB~~1:1000
IHC-P~~1:50~100
FC~~1:10~50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RSPO4 rspo4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The RSPO4 rspo4 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #83722284) (NCBI Accession #NP_001025042.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q2I0M5). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RSPO4 Antibody (C-term) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (RSPO4 Antibody (C-term) (MBS9203044) western blot analysis in Jurkat cell line lysates (15ug/lane).This demonstrates the RSPO4 antibody detected the RSPO4 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (RSPO4 Antibody (C-term) (MBS9203044) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human testis tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the RSPO4 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (RSPO4 Antibody (C-term)(MBS9203044) flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
RSPO4 is a member of the R-spondin family of
proteins that share a common domain organization consisting of a
signal peptide, cysteine-rich/furin-like domain, thrombospondin
domain and a C-terminal basic region. The encoded protein may be
involved in activation of Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathways.
Mutations in this gene are associated with anonychia congenital.
Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Function: Activator of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway by acting as a ligand for LGR4-6 receptors (PubMed:29769720). Upon binding to LGR4-6 (LGR4, LGR5 or LGR6), LGR4-6 associate with phosphorylated LRP6 and frizzled receptors that are activated by extracellular Wnt receptors, triggering the canonical Wnt signaling pathway to increase expression of target genes. Also regulates the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin-dependent pathway and non-canonical Wnt signaling by acting as an inhibitor of ZNRF3, an important regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway (PubMed:21727895, PubMed:
Cellular Location: Secreted. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing RSPO4 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as RSPO4 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
