The SERPINI1 serpini1 (Catalog #MBS6001983) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SERPINI1, NT (SERPINI1, PI12, Neuroserpin, Peptidase inhibitor 12, Serpin I1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s SERPINI1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF).Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100
Immunofluorescence: 1:10-50
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SERPINI1 serpini1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The SERPINI1 serpini1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #17390079) (NCBI Accession #AAH18043.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q99574). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the SERPINI1, NT (SERPINI1, PI12, Neuroserpin, Peptidase inhibitor 12, Serpin I1) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS6001983. This demonstrates that MBS6001983 detected the SERPINI1 protein (arrow).)
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of lysate from SH-SY5Y cell line (35ug), using MBS6001983 (1:1000). A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:5000 was used as the secondary antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue using MBS6001983 followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of MBS6001983 for immunohistochemistry.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of HepG2 cells using MBS6001983 followed by Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
This gene encodes a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors. The protein is primarily secreted by axons in the brain, and preferentially reacts with and inhibits tissue-type plasminogen activator. It is thought to play a role in the regulation of axonal growth and the development of synaptic plasticity. Mutations in this gene result in familial encephalopathy with neuroserpin inclusion bodies (FENIB), which is a dominantly inherited form of familial encephalopathy and epilepsy characterized by the accumulation of mutant neuroserpin polymers. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
Immunogen: SERPINI1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 26-53 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human SERPINI1.
