The SFPI1 spi1 (Catalog #MBS835427) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s SFPI1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).WB: 5 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SFPI1 spi1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The SFPI1 spi1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6755474) (NCBI Accession #NP_035485) (Uniprot Accession #P17433). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the SFPI1 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (Western Blot analysis using SFPI1 antibody
SFPI1 antibody used at 0.2-1 ug/ml to detect target protein.)
Rabbit polyclonal SFPI1 antibody.
Biological Significance: Sfpi1 binds to the PU-box, a purine-rich DNA sequence (5\'-GAGGAA-3\') that can act as a lymphoid-specific enhancer. Sfpi1 is a transcriptional activator that may be specifically involved in the differentiation or activation of macrophages or B-cells. Sfpi1 also binds RNA and may modulate pre-mRNA splicing. Cross-Reactivity: Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Dog, Zebrafish, Pig, Human, Chicken
Immunogen: SFPI1 antibody was raised in rabbit using the N terminal of SFPI1 as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing SFPI1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as SFPI1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. SFPI1 also interacts with the following gene(s): Csf1r, Flt3, Gata1, Gata2, Irf4, Irf8, Jun, Runx1, Tbp. Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Hyperplasia, Inflammation, Leukemia, Myeloid, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to SFPI1 antibody. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Heart, Intestine, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
