The SPIC spic (Catalog #MBS9401355) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SPIC Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s SPIC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).
Western blotting: 1:500~1:3000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SPIC spic for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The SPIC spic product has the following accession number(s) (GI #22748707) (NCBI Accession #NP_689536.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q8N5J4). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the SPIC Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts from HepG2 cells and HeLa cells, using SPIC antibody.)
Western Blot (WB) SPIC.

Controls the development of red pulp macrophages required for red blood cells recycling and iron homeostasis. Transcription factor that binds to the PU-box, a purine-rich DNA sequence (5\'-GAGGA[AT]-3\') that can act as a lymphoid-specific enhancer. Regulates VCAM1 gene expression By similarity.Carlsson R., Gene 299:271-278(2002).The MGC Project Team, Genome Res. 14:2121-2127(2004).

Immunogen Type: Peptide
Immunogen Description: Synthesized peptide derived from internal of human SPIC. Target Name: SPIC. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing SPIC are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as SPIC may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. SPIC also interacts with the following gene(s): GTSF1, ITGAD. Liver tissues are correlated with this protein. Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Cirrhosis, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to SPIC Antibody.
