The STAT6 stat6 (Catalog #MBS835443) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-STAT6 antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s STAT6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).
WB: 1-4 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the STAT6 stat6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The STAT6 stat6 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #296010870) (NCBI Accession #NP_001171552.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rabbit polyclonal Phospho-STAT6 antibody.

STAT6 stat6

Biological Significance: Membrane receptor signaling by various ligands induces activation of Jak kinases which then leads to tyrosine phosphorylation of the various Stat transcription factors. Stat1 and Stat2 are induced by IFN-alpha and form a heterodimer which is part of the ISGF3 transcription factor complex. Although early reports indicate Stat3 activation by EGF and IL-6, it has been shown that Stat3beta appears to be activated by both while Stat3alpha is activated by EGF, but not by IL-6. Highest expression of Stat4 is seen in testis and myeloid cells. IL-12 has been identified as an activator of Stat4. Stat5 is activated by prolactin and by IL-3. Stat6 is involved in IL-4 activated signaling pathways. Immunogen: Phospho-STAT6 antibody was raised in Rabbit using synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to resides surrounding Tyr641 of human Stat6 as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing STAT6 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as STAT6 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Intestine, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Skin, Spleen, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Cardiovascular Diseases, Dermatitis, Atopic, Disease Models, Animal, Hyperplasia, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Phospho-STAT6 antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. STAT6 also interacts with the following gene(s): CCL11, IL4R, JAK1, JAK2, JAK3, NCOA1, PARP14, SOCS1, TYK2.
