The SYNCRIP syncrip (Catalog #MBS715718) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Q polyclonal Antibody, HRP conjugated reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Q can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SYNCRIP syncrip for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The SYNCRIP syncrip product has the following accession number(s) (GI #228008396) (NCBI Accession #NP_001153145.1) (Uniprot Accession #O60506). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Heterogenous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) implicated in mRNA processing mechanisms. Component of the CRD-mediated complex that promotes MYC mRNA stability. Isoform 1, isoform 2 and isoform 3 are associated in vitro with pre-mRNA, splicing intermediates and mature mRNA protein complexes. Isoform 1 binds to apoB mRNA AU-rich sequences. Isoform 1 is part of the APOB mRNA editosome complex and may modulate the postranscriptional C to U RNA-editing of the APOB mRNA through either by binding to A1CF (APOBEC1 complementation factor), to APOBEC1 or to RNA itself. May be involved in translationally coupled mRNA turnover. Implicated with other RNA-binding proteins in the cytoplasmic deadenylation/translational and decay interplay of the FOS mRNA mediated by the major coding-region determinant of instability (mCRD) domain. Interacts in vitro preferentially with poly(A) and poly(U) RNA sequences. Isoform 3 may be involved in cytoplasmic vesicle-based mRNA transport through interaction with synaptotagmins.

Santa Cruz Alternative: Potential replacement for Santa Cruz Biotechnology antibody catalog# sc-69572. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing SYNCRIP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as SYNCRIP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
