|The TAGLN tagln (Catalog #MBS2527790) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TAGLN Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TAGLN can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
IHC: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TAGLN tagln for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TAGLN tagln product has the following accession number(s) (GI #48255907) (NCBI Accession #NP_001001522.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the TAGLN Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using TAGLN Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:20)
The protein encoded by this gene is a transformation and shape-change sensitive actin cross-linking/gelling protein found in fibroblasts and smooth muscle. Its expression is down-regulated in many cell lines, and this down-regulation may be an early and sensitive marker for the onset of transformation. A functional role of this protein is unclear. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human TAGLN. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TAGLN are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TAGLN may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Hyperplasia, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to TAGLN Polyclonal Antibody. TAGLN also interacts with the following gene(s): ACTA2, CNN1, ELK1, GATA6, MYH11, MYL9, MYOCD, SRF, TPM2. Blood, Bone, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Liver, Lung, Lymph, Lymph Node, Muscle, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
