|The TCOF1 tcof1 (Catalog #MBS129394) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TCOF1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TCOF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
IHC: 1:50 - 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCOF1 tcof1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TCOF1 tcof1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #302393806) (NCBI Accession #Q13428.3) (Uniprot Accession #Q13428). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the TCOF1 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using TCOF1 antibody at 1:1000 dilution.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (MBS128200) at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.)
This gene encodes a nucleolar protein with a LIS1 homology domain. The protein is involved in ribosomal DNA gene transcription through its interaction with upstream binding factor (UBF). Mutations in this gene have been associated with Treacher Collins syndrome, a disorder which includes abnormal craniofacial development. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human TCOF1
Calculated Molecular Weight: 152kDa. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TCOF1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TCOF1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Ganglia, Heart, Kidney, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. TCOF1 also interacts with the following gene(s): NOP56, POLR1D, TBL1X. Abnormalities, Multiple, Congenital Abnormalities, Craniofacial Abnormalities, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Kidney Diseases, Kidney Neoplasms, Mandibulofacial Dysostosis, Nervous System Diseases, Nervous System Malformations are some of the diseases may be linked to TCOF1 Polyclonal Antibody.
