|The TEAD2 tead2 (Catalog #MBS9214650) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TEAD2 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TEAD2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).
WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TEAD2 tead2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TEAD2 tead2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #375331915) (NCBI Accession #NP_001243587.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q15562). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the TEAD2 Antibody (Center) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (TEAD2 Antibody (Center) western blot analysis in human placenta tissue lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the TEAD2 antibody detected the TEAD2 protein (arrow).)
Western Blot (WB) (TEAD2 Antibody (Center) western blot analysis in mouse NIH-3T3 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the TEAD2 antibody detected the TEAD2 protein (arrow).)
Transcription factor which plays a key role in the Hippo signaling pathway, a pathway involved in organ size control and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis. The core of this pathway is composed of a kinase cascade wherein MST1/MST2, in complex with its regulatory protein SAV1, phosphorylates and activates LATS1/2 in complex with its regulatory protein MOB1, which in turn phosphorylates and inactivates YAP1 oncoprotein and WWTR1/TAZ. Acts by mediating gene expression of YAP1 and WWTR1/TAZ, thereby regulating cell proliferation, migration and epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) induction. Binds to the SPH and GT-IIC \'enhansons\' (5\'-GTGGAATGT-3\'). May be involved in the gene regulation of neural development. Binds to the M-CAT motif.
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TEAD2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TEAD2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Pancreas, Skin, Stomach, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein.
