The TGF-beta Receptor I n/a (Catalog #MBS840931) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TGF-beta Receptor I Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TGF-beta Receptor I can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Western blotting (0.5-4 ug/ml) and Immunohistochemistry (5 ug/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. antibody detects 30 and 55 kDa isoforms of TGF-beta Receptor I on SDS-PAGE immunoblots in samples from human, mouse, rat, pig and bovine origins. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TGF-beta Receptor I n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Testing Data
Background: TGF-beta (Transforming growth factor-beta superfamily members are critical regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, morphogenesis, and pathogenesis. TGF-beta receptor is a serine/threonine kinase receptor complex that consists of two distinct transmembrane proteins known as type I and type II receptors. In response to ligand binding, the type II receptors form a stable complex with the type I receptors allowing phosphorylation and thus activation of the type I receptor kinases.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 411 of human TGF-beta Receptor I. Handling: The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TGF-beta Receptor I are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TGF-beta Receptor I may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
