The TGFBR1 tgfbr1 (Catalog #MBS629542) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TGFBR1, ID (TGF-beta Receptor Type I, TGFR-1, Transforming Growth Factor-beta Receptor Type I, TGF-beta Type I Receptor, TbetaR-I, TGF-beta Type I Receptor, Serine/Threonine-protein Kinase Receptor R4, SKR4, Activin Receptor-like Kinase 5, ALK-5, TGF beta reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TGFBR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000
Western Blot: 1:100-1:500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TGFBR1 tgfbr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TGFBR1 tgfbr1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #195963412) (NCBI Accession #NP_001124388.1) (Uniprot Accession #P36897). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the TGFBR1, ID (TGF-beta Receptor Type I, TGFR-1, Transforming Growth Factor-beta Receptor Type I, TGF-beta Type I Receptor, TbetaR-I, TGF-beta Type I Receptor, Serine/Threonine-protein Kinase Receptor R4, SKR4, Activin Receptor-like Kinase 5, ALK-5, TGF beta with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS629542. TGFBR1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with MBS629542, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of MBS629542 for immunohistochemistry. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
The protein encoded by this gene forms a heteromeric complex with type II TGF-beta receptors when bound to TGF-beta, transducing the TGF-beta signal from the cell surface to the cytoplasm. The encoded protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Loeys-Dietz aortic aneurysm syndrome (LDAS).
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa141-170 from the central region of human TGFBR1, conjugated to KLH. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TGFBR1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TGFBR1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
