|The TLR6 tlr6 (Catalog #MBS2521147) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TLR6 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TLR6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
IHC: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TLR6 tlr6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TLR6 tlr6 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #20143971) (NCBI Accession #NP_006059.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using TLR6 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:25)
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. They recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) that are expressed on infectious agents, and mediate the production of cytokines necessary for the development of effective immunity. The various TLRs exhibit different patterns of expression. This receptor functionally interacts with toll-like receptor 2 to mediate cellular response to bacterial lipoproteins.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human TLR6. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TLR6 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TLR6 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Atherosclerosis, Cardiovascular Diseases, Hepatitis, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Prostatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to TLR6 Polyclonal Antibody. TLR6 also interacts with the following gene(s): CD14, LY96, MYD88, TLR1, TLR2. Blood, Brain, Cervix, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Placenta, Testis, Thymus, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein.
