The TPX2 tpx2 (Catalog #MBS620920) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TPX2 (Targeting Protein for XKLP2, TPX2 Microtubule-associated Homolog, TPX2 Microtubule-associated Protein Homolog, C20orf2, Chromosome 20 Open Reading Frame 1, C20ORF1, Differentially Expressed in Cancerous and Noncancerous Lung Cells 2, Differentially reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TPX2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunofluorescence (IF).Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TPX2 tpx2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TPX2 tpx2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #23928525) (Uniprot Accession #Q9ULW0). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the TPX2 (Targeting Protein for XKLP2, TPX2 Microtubule-associated Homolog, TPX2 Microtubule-associated Protein Homolog, C20orf2, Chromosome 20 Open Reading Frame 1, C20ORF1, Differentially Expressed in Cancerous and Noncancerous Lung Cells 2, Differentially with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunocytochemistry (ICC) (Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry analysis of TPX2 at the mitotic spindle microtubules and poles in a HeLa metaphase cell using MBS620920.)
TPX2 is a microtubule cross-linking protein involved in spindle formation. During mitosis it is strictly associated with the mitotic spindle, whereas during phases S and G2, it is diffusely distributed throughout the nucleus.
Immunogen: Produced by immunizing rabbits with a recombinant segment of the C-terminal domain of the human protein.
Cellular Localization: Nuclear. Staining of non-mitotic cells and cell cycle-dependent changes in abundance peaking at G2/M phase. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TPX2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TPX2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. TPX2 also interacts with the following gene(s): AURKA.
