|The TRPV5 trpv5 (Catalog #MBS6001000) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TRPV5, CT (TRPV5, ECAC1, Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 5, Calcium transport protein 2, Epithelial calcium channel 1, Osm-9-like TRP channel 3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TRPV5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TRPV5 trpv5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TRPV5 trpv5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #17505200) (NCBI Accession #NP_062815.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q9NQA5). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

This gene is a member of the transient receptor family and the TrpV subfamily. The calcium-selective channel encoded by this gene has 6 transmembrane-spanning domains, multiple potential phosphorylation sites, an N-linked glycosylation site, and 5 ANK repeats. This protein forms homotetramers or heterotetramers and is activated by a low internal calcium level.
Immunogen: TRPV5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 633-663 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human TRPV5. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TRPV5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TRPV5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone Diseases, Calcium Metabolism Disorders, Hypercalciuria, Hypertension, Insulin Resistance, Kidney Calculi, Kidney Diseases, Nephrocalcinosis, Pain, Renal Insufficiency are some of the diseases may be linked to TRPV5, CT (TRPV5, ECAC1, Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 5, Calcium transport protein 2, Epithelial calcium channel 1, Osm-9-like TRP channel 3). Blood, Lung tissues are correlated with this protein. TRPV5 also interacts with the following gene(s): ANXA2, BSPRY, CALB1, FKBP4, LGALS1, NIPSNAP1, RAB11A, S100A10, WNK3.
