The TXNRD3 txnrd3 (Catalog #MBS644153) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TXNRD3, ID (TXNRD3, TGR, TRXR3, Thioredoxin reductase 3, Thioredoxin and glutathione reductase, Thioredoxin reductase TR2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TXNRD3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TXNRD3 txnrd3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TXNRD3 txnrd3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #291045268) (NCBI Accession #NP_001166984.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q86VQ6). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the TXNRD3, ID (TXNRD3, TGR, TRXR3, Thioredoxin reductase 3, Thioredoxin and glutathione reductase, Thioredoxin reductase TR2) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (TXNRD3 Antibody (Center) western blot analysis in MDA-MB453 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the TXNRD3 antibody detected the TXNRD3 protein (arrow).)
This gene encodes a member of the family of pyridine nucleotide oxidoreductases. This protein catalyzes the reduction of thioredoxin, and is implicated in the defense against oxidative stress. It contains a selenocysteine (Sec) residue (which is essential for catalytic activity), encoded by an UGA codon, at the penultimate C-terminal position. The 3\' UTR of Sec-containing genes have a common stem-loop structure, the sec insertion sequence (SECIS), which is necessary for the recognition of UGA as a Sec codon rather than as a stop signal. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: TXNRD3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 304-333 amino acids from the Central region of human TXNRD3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TXNRD3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TXNRD3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
