|The UVRAG uvrag (Catalog #MBS9128462) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The UVRAG Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s UVRAG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).
WB 1:500 - 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UVRAG uvrag for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The UVRAG uvrag product has the following accession number(s) (GI #21687212) (NCBI Accession #NP_003360.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q9P2Y5). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

This gene complements the ultraviolet sensitivity of xeroderma pigmentosum group C cells and encodes a protein with a C2 domain. The protein activates the Beclin1-PI(3)KC3 complex, promoting autophagy and suppressing the proliferation and tumorigenicity of human colon cancer cells. Chromosomal aberrations involving this gene are associated with left-right axis malformation and mutations in this gene have been associated with colon cancer.
Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human UVRAG. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing UVRAG are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as UVRAG may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Mouth, Muscle, Stomach tissues are correlated with this protein. Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Nervous System Diseases, Nervous System Malformations are some of the diseases may be linked to UVRAG Polyclonal Antibody. UVRAG also interacts with the following gene(s): AMBRA1, ATG14, BAX, BECN1, PIK3C3, PIK3R4, SH3GLB1, VPS16, VPS18.
