The VPREB1 vpreb1 (Catalog #MBS648847) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The VPREB1, ID (VPREB1, VPREB, Immunoglobulin iota chain, CD179 antigen-like family member A, Protein VPreB1, V(pre)B protein, CD179a) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s VPREB1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the VPREB1 vpreb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The VPREB1 vpreb1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #47678749) (NCBI Accession #CAG30495.1) (Uniprot Accession #P12018). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the VPREB1, ID (VPREB1, VPREB, Immunoglobulin iota chain, CD179 antigen-like family member A, Protein VPreB1, V(pre)B protein, CD179a) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (VPREB1 Antibody (Center) western blot analysis in CEM cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the VPREB1 antibody detected the VPREB1 protein (arrow).)
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and is expressed selectively at the early stages of B cell development, namely, in proB and early preB cells. This gene encodes the iota polypeptide chain that is associated with the Ig-mu chain to form a molecular complex which is expressed on the surface of pre-B cells. The complex is thought to regulate Ig gene rearrangements in the early steps of B-cell differentiation.
Immunogen: VPREB1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 71-99 amino acids from the Central region of human VPREB1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing VPREB1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as VPREB1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood tissues are correlated with this protein.
