The ZAP70 zap70 (Catalog #MBS6004972) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ZAP70, NT (ZAP70, SRK, Tyrosine-protein kinase ZAP-70, 70kD zeta-chain associated protein, Syk-related tyrosine kinase) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ZAP70 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZAP70 zap70 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ZAP70 zap70 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #24657846) (NCBI Accession #AAH39039.1) (Uniprot Accession #P43403). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ZAP70, NT (ZAP70, SRK, Tyrosine-protein kinase ZAP-70, 70kD zeta-chain associated protein, Syk-related tyrosine kinase) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (ZAP70 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the ZAP70 antibody detected the ZAP70 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (ZAP70 Antibody (N-term) (AP14146a)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human tonsil tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of ZAP70 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
This gene encodes an enzyme belonging to the protein tyrosine kinase family, and it plays a role in T-cell development and lymphocyte activation. This enzyme, which is phosphorylated on tyrosine residues upon T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) stimulation, functions in the initial step of TCR-mediated signal transduction in combination with the Src family kinases, Lck and Fyn. This enzyme is also essential for thymocyte development. Mutations in this gene cause selective T-cell defect, a severe combined immunodeficiency disease characterized by a selective absence of CD8-positive T-cells. Two transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: ZAP70 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 102-130 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human ZAP70. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ZAP70 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ZAP70 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
