This pooled antibody was raised in rabbits which were immunized with synthetic Arg8-Vasopressin (AVP. ADH) covalently attached onto bovine thyroglobulin as a carrier protein. The pooled antibody has been shown to be specific for Arg8-Vasopressin and has been characterized by immunocytochemistry. ELISA. and RIA techniques. and is suitable for cell and tissue staining. for immunoprecipitation. and for passive immunization.
Dilute the lyophilized antibody with 0.10 ml of 10 mg/ml BSA in PBS for the equivalent of whole antiserum. or with additional buffer for more dilute antibody. The lyophilized powder should be stored at 4 degree C until rehydrated. then we recommend aliquoting the antibody into smaller portions and freezing the aliquots at -20 degree C. Do not subject this antibody to repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Each vial contains 0.10 ml of "neat" antiserum.
