The CHN1 chn1 (Catalog #MBS9211607) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CHN1 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CHN1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).
WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CHN1 chn1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The CHN1 chn1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #209364623) (NCBI Accession #NP_001020372.2) (Uniprot Accession #P15882). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CHN1 Antibody (N-term) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of lysates from human brain tissue lysate and Jurkat cell line (from left to right), using CHN1 Antibody (N-term). MBS9211607 was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysates at 35ug per lane.)
Western Blot (WB) CHN1.

This gene encodes GTPase-activating protein for p21-rac
and a phorbol ester receptor. It plays an important role in ocular
motor axon pathfinding. Heterozygous missense mutations in this
gene cause Duane\'s retraction syndrome 2 (DURS2). Multiple
transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for
this gene.

Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CHN1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CHN1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Cardiovascular Diseases, Duane Retraction Syndrome, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Mental Disorders, Nervous System Diseases, Neurobehavioral Manifestations, Proteinuria, Seizures are some of the diseases may be linked to CHN1 Antibody (N-term). CHN1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CDC42, RAC1, RAC2, RHOA. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Muscle, Nerve tissues are correlated with this protein.
