Dual specificity protein phosphatase 5(DUSP5) is a member of the dual specificity protein phosphatase subfamily. These phosphatases inactivate their target kinases by dephosphorylating both the phosphoserine/threonine and phosphotyrosine residues.[1]The DUSP5 inactivates ERK1,[2] is expressed in a variety of tissues with the highest levels in pancreas and brain, and is localized in the nucleus.

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide (conjugated to KLH) corresponding to the region of DUSP5. Storage Buffer: In TBS (pH7.4), 0.5% BSA, 40% Glycerol and 0.05% Sodium Azide

Available antibodies recognizing DUSP5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DUSP5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Hyperplasia, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-Dual specificity protein phosphatase 5, DUSP5 antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Nerve, Thyroid tissues are correlated with this protein. DUSP5 also interacts with the following gene(s): MAPK1, MAPK3, MAPK8, SNRK, TP53.
