Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the IL13Ra1 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (Western blot analysis on D3 (A) and HepG2 (B) using anti IL13Ra1polyclonal antibody.)
Interleukin 13 receptor, alpha 1 encoded by gene Il13ra1 is a subunit of the interleukin 13 receptor. This subunit forms a receptor complex with IL4 receptor alpha, a subunit shared by IL13 and IL4 receptors. This subunit serves as a primary IL13-binding subunit of the IL13 receptor, and may also be a component of IL4 receptors. Together with IL4R-alpha it can form a functional receptor for IL13. IL13Ra1 also serves as an alternate accessory protein to the common cytokine receptor gamma chain for IL4 signaling.
Preservative: 0.05% Sodium Azide.
Cellular Localization: Cell Membrane. Positive Control: D3, HepG2. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IL13Ra1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IL13Ra1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Carcinoma, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Hematologic Diseases, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lymphoma, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to IL13Ra1 Antibody. IL13Ra1 also interacts with the following gene(s): IL13, IL4R, TYK2.
